  1. This is a pleasant tile-swapping game where the pattern on the tiles is the level number (so 1, 2, 3, 4…). It’s a simple idea, but is done well. It has a lovely ambient track playing in the background ([Abstract by Shady Dave](https://freesound.org/people/ShadyDave/sounds/345838/)).

I played the Linux version. I did get an error message about failing to open NaCl IRT file “/home/gadgetgamer/Games/Number Islands/nacl_irt_x86_64.nexe”, but that didn’t stop the game from loading.

It would be nice to be play the game in a window, but only full screen was possible. Even though the game is an HTML5 game packaged with Chrome or Chromium, F11 didn’t work to get into windowed mode. I found it a bit large when full screen on my monitor. It would be better suited on my laptop.

My only other beef is that there doesn’t appear to be a way to play old levels. You have to play from the most recent one you got up to. I had to remove the ~/.config/NumberIslands folder to allow someone else to play the game from the start.
